Do IT Yourself (DIY) development is a key trend in the industry and part of the digitalization of our company. This will be a major shift in the way we use and deliver IT applications in Shell. To be able to embrace and implement this, while simultaneously ensuring safe and reliable operations, we need a framework that spells out the different components associated with application development and data engineering by end-users. Delivering optimum value for RDS and the business, reliably and securely, remains our end goal. Programme Scope Deliver the change programme to enable and embed DIY development across RDS, addressing in detail the definition of DIY development, the approach followed, and the applicable controls and processes through 6 workstreams:DIY Service Development (incl. Zoning)DIY Capability BuildingDIY Communities (incl. Implementation)DIY ToolkitChange & engageBA tasks including:Work with PBI owners or own PBI's to design, gain approval for & implement components of the DIY business transformation such as: DIY new service delivery & operationalizing of the DIY Center of ExcellenceOperational DIY ways of working across ITY, ITSO, IRM and Architecture organisationsDIY technology development roadmaps and related guidance documentsBusiness Value tracking and reportingData management strategy, governance and guidanceCustomer journey maps and related change & training materialsProfile & skillsStrong in Business Process, Governance, Roles & Responsibilities design & implementationStrong knowledge of IT Services and Operations, preferably in ShellGood understanding of low-code technology platforms and applications, preferably their application in Shell (eg. Power Platform (Apps, Automate, BI), Salesforce Lightning, Python, Alteryx)Strong communication and team interaction skillsAbility to quickly understand the broader Shell business context and use analysis techniques to design world class technology, process and people solutionsProactive, flexible and deadline-focused in a fast-moving programme environmentAbility to challenge constructively both upwards, sideways and downwardsWorking knowledge of Data modelling techniquesAwareness of IRM and Data & Analytics principles and methodsAwareness of Project Management, Agile/Scrum as Transformation Change methods k
